Crossroads LED receives the IDA’s “Lighting Design and Technical Innovation Award”

Certified Dark Sky Friendly by the international Dark-Sky Association

Owasso, OK – The International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) has awarded its prestigious “Lighting Design and Technical Innovation Award” to Crossroads LED for its revolutionary “Astrophile Series” dark-sky certified LED amber streetlight luminaires.

The “Astrophile Series” fixtures are the first and only dark-sky certified streetlights to be listed on the IDA’s Fixture Seal of Approval Program (FSA) with color temperatures as low as 1600K and are specifically designed to dramatically reduce light pollution, light trespass, and glare.

The IDA is the globally recognized authority on light pollution and the award is given to individuals, organizations, or businesses that support the IDA and its mission to preserve the night skies by promoting quality outdoor nighttime lighting.
